Dark Terrors ist ein Quellenbuch für die Fünfte Edition von Shadowrun, und wird als "Plot-Quellenbuch" beschrieben. Es dreht sich um finstere - zum Großteil übernatürliche - Bedrohungen für die (Meta-)Menschheit, mit denen Spielleiter die SCs konfrontieren können, und ist damit letztlich ein Nachfolger der Threats-Bände "Threats" und "Threats 2" aus der zweiten und dritten Edition.
Dark Terrors erschien am 26. November 2017 in englischer Originalsprache bei Catalyst Games Lab zunächst als eBook im Pdf-Format mit Wasserzeichen. Eine gedruckte Ausgabe wird folgen.
