Der Roman erschien 1996 in englischer Originalsprache bei Roc Books. Eine deutsche Übersetzung unter dem Titel "Funkstille" kam 1997 im Heyne Verlag heraus. Fleuve noir veröffentlichte eine französische Übersetzung unter dem etwas sperrigen Titel "La deuxième mort de Jonathon Winger".
