Shadowrun Fifth Edition Core Rulebook ist das Grundregelwerk für die Fünfte Edition von Shadowrun.

Es wird 2013 von Catalyst Games Lab in englischer Originalsprache veröffentlicht.

Am 14.06.2013 veröffentlichte Catalyst eine Vorab-Version zur us-amerikanischen Origins Convention, die den Titel "Shadowrun Fifth Edition Origins 2013 Special Edition" trägt, mit dem Untertitel "Where Gaming Beginns". Hierbei handelte es sich um eine Softcover-Ausgabe, in der die ausfaltbaren Farbabbildungen und der Shadowrun Online-Code fehlen, die in der regulären Hardcover-Printversion enthalten sein werden.

Ab 11. Juli soll diese reguläre Ausgabe als eBook im Pdf-Format mit Wasserzeichen erhältlich, und in der Printversion vorbestellbar sein, die im August 2013 in den Handel kommt. Außerdem wird es - wie schon bei der dritten und vierten Edition - auch eine signifikant teurere, ledergebundene Limited Edition geben.

Der Pegasus Verlag wird eine übersetzte Version in deutscher Sprache - ebenfalls als eBook und Hardcover - herausbringen.
