Shadows of Latin America (SoLA) war ein geplantes Location-Quellenbuch für Shadowrun im Stile von Shadows of North America, Europe und Asia. Es ist zeitlich in den 2060ern angesiedelt und beschäftigt sich mit den Staaten Zentral- und Südamerikas einschließlich des mittelamerikanischen Aztlan und der Karibischen Liga. Durch ungüngstige Umstände kam es nie zur Veröffentlichung, obwohl diese immer mal wieder in Aussicht gestellt wurde. Shadows of Latin America bleibt - zumal nach Robert Deeries Abschied von Catalyst Games Lab im Zorn - als offizielles Quellenbuch unveröffentlicht. Allerdings versuchte Peter Taylor das Material für ein inoffizielles Quellenbuch zusammenzutragen, das vom Shadowhelix-User "Fex" schließlich am 29. Dezember 2011 als Pdf veröffentlicht wurde.

Dadurch, dass der Inhalt ursprünglich für ein offizielles Quellenbuch vorgesehen war, ist er kompatibel mit älterem Shadowrun-Material und wird außerdem dort als Quelle betrachtet, wo neuere Informationen nicht widersprechen.

It provides extensive updates on the Awakened nations of Azlan and Amazonia, as well as a selection of paranormal flora and fauna to be found in the deep jungles.
